Brokerages Wealthnow works with, and what the AI can do in each
Wealthnow connects 25+ brokerages and crypto exchanges, including Robinhood, Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Interactive Brokers, Coinbase and Kraken. At every connected account it can read balances and positions and answer questions about your whole portfolio. At brokerages with an order rail, Wealthnow drafts an order and routes it to your broker only after you approve that specific order. Wealthnow never holds your money; your broker keeps custody.
How to read this page
- Approved orders: Wealthnow can send an order to your account after you approve that specific order.
- Approved orders, beta: the same approval rule, on a connection that is live for customers and still in beta. At Robinhood that is US stocks and ETFs in the Agentic account. Your main Robinhood account stays read-only, and Robinhood has no crypto.
- Set per connection: trading depends on the brokerage and the connection you granted, and is checked again before every order. Your account card shows which applies.
- Read-only: Wealthnow sees balances and positions and can analyze them, but sends no orders.

When a connection cannot trade, the account card says why in plain language. An order is never sent to a different account or venue as a fallback.
What Wealthnow does at every connected account
- One portfolio view across your brokers and exchanges.
- Research with sources: filings, quotes, news and congress and 13F activity, with citations you can check.
- Proposals you decide on: Wealthnow explains a proposed trade and why. Nothing is sent until you approve that order.
Checks on every order
Before an approved order reaches your broker, one order gate confirms your approval of that specific order, refuses a sell your holdings do not cover, and blocks a duplicate submission of the same order.
Funds and securities stay at your broker. For crypto exchanges, Wealthnow refuses Gemini API keys that carry withdrawal permissions.
Choosing where to connect
- Want approved stock orders? Use Alpaca, or a Robinhood Agentic account (US stocks and ETFs, in beta). Your main Robinhood account stays read-only, and Robinhood has no crypto.
- Want approved crypto orders? Use Kraken, Gemini or Alpaca.
- Keep long-term accounts at Schwab, Fidelity or Vanguard? Connect them read-only so the AI sees your whole portfolio.
Frequently asked questions
Which brokerages can Wealthnow send orders to?
Today Wealthnow can route orders you approve at Alpaca, Kraken and Gemini. Robinhood trading is live in beta: US stocks and ETFs through your Robinhood Agentic account, after you approve each order. Your main Robinhood account stays read-only, and there is no crypto there. Wealthnow can also route orders you approve at some brokerages connected by broker sign-in where the brokerage allows trading for that connection. Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Vanguard, Interactive Brokers connect read-only.
Can Wealthnow trade my Robinhood account today?
Yes, in beta, through your Robinhood Agentic account. Open and fund an Agentic account at Robinhood, the separate account Robinhood keeps for agent trading, then sign in at Robinhood from Wealthnow (no keys to copy); Wealthnow links that Agentic account. Wealthnow then routes the US stock and ETF trades you approve there, and every order still passes the same safety checks as every other Wealthnow order. Your main Robinhood account connects read-only: Wealthnow sees those positions in whole-portfolio analysis but does not trade them. Robinhood's agentic rail has no crypto, so crypto trades you approve route through other supported brokers, such as Kraken.
Does Wealthnow hold my money?
No. Wealthnow is not a custodian or broker-dealer. Your assets stay at your brokerage.
Can the AI trade without asking me?
No. Each order waits for your approval of that specific order.
Why is my Schwab or Fidelity account read-only?
Trading access is granted by each brokerage and connection. For these brokerages, Wealthnow's connection currently provides balances and positions only, and the account card says so.
What happens if a brokerage changes its connection?
Capabilities are checked again before each order. If a brokerage withdraws trading access, the order is refused rather than sent somewhere else.
